La Cota Quinta put a great effort on the environmental sustainability. The whole structure has been designed targeting the energetic self-sufficiency through the utilisation of geothermal probes (for heating and cooling systems) and photovoltaic panels (for clean electricity production).

All the sanitary water at La Cota Quinta comes from local springs – no public water adduction is utilised.
